- Hi [PERSON], saw you in my feed today! Many AI folks offer basic wrappers, but I build custom, agentic AI workflows with core ML expertise around [ORGANIZATION] & [ORGANIZATION]. Interested in a chat for long-term collaboration?
- Outreach
- Hi [PERSON] no pressure on the chat, I know those asks can feel like the front end of a pitch. Keeping it simple: are you already shipping AI into the core product, or is it still on the someday list? Genuinely just curious where you're at with it.
- Lead
- Hi [PERSON], cut to the chase with me? I'm direct and like to work with others who are. Thanks! [PERSON]
- Lead
- Perhaps you don't know what 'cut to the chase means'
- Lead
- It means, don't be indirect, be direct -- what would you want?
- Lead
- Hi [PERSON], thanks for the direct ask. I don't manage engineering or hire engineering contractors very much -- as my role is Product Management (product direction, not engineering delivery) and Partnerships. That being said, I am aware of what is happening.
- Lead
- If you're a contractor, do you have a portfolio that describes 3 projects you have worked on? Please check the job description (JD) that we have on our website at [LINK] -- if anything, I could use a contractor that has that specific engineering experience that is asked for in the JD.
- Lead
- Hi [PERSON], looks like you have the experience, but if you can't show me a single application you have built (even a personal application), I am unable to consider you for my employer, as the risk is too high for my reputation. I trust you understand -- if it was for me personally, or for a startup I run, then I could take a chance. Are you employed full-time right now, or looking for a job?
- Lead
- Hi [PERSON], I am unable to hire people that are in full-time roles at other companies for a contract role at our company -- it's against our policy. If you're interested in collaborating with early stage startups during your evening hours -- like, as part of a founding team, to build something that you might become a permanent part of, I can think about it and see if I can introduce you to people (but to be clear, those are not paid jobs, just work that ends up with equity). Thanks,
- Lead
- Hi [PERSON], thanks man, you too! Look, you're looking for an FT job with a SF company (which I can't help you with because you're in India and I don't know a CEO who wants a new hire in India -- if they don't have a team there already). The other thing you said you were open to to is a side-hustle paid job, and again, I do not know any founders looking for someone like that in India. This is the situation in the AI boom that is happening! There are great engineers in SF, India, and everywhere who are willing to join in an idea with a team and build, build, build - with no expectation but equity and the chance to create something big. When you reach that stage of hunger, let me know! Thanks!
